Institute for European Environmental Policy (IEEP), UK

IEEP logo

IEEP is an independent institute for the analysis and development of policies affecting the environment in Europe and beyond. It is a registered charity, non-profit organisation and company with 29 staff. The Institute seeks both to raise awareness of European environmental policy and to advance policy-making along sustainable paths. IEEP both pursues its own initiatives and undertakes work for external sponsors and clients. Its activities include research studies, policy advice and stakeholder consultations, including the organisation of conferences and seminars. IEEP has an interdisciplinary staff including lawyers and natural and social scientists with experience in several European countries. It undertakes research and consultancy work on the development, implementation and evaluation of environmental and environment-related policies.
